Ice is produced at a rate of 65 pounds per day when ambient temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and water temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. For routine maintenance, this unit's control panel displays cleaning reminders, power status readouts, and low-water alerts.

Designed for long-lasting use in residential settings, the Scotsman SCCP50MB-1SS air-cooled ice machine's cabinet and front are made of heavy-duty stainless steel. Its self-closing door preserves cold air, and for efficient cooling, the unit operates with R-134A refrigerant. To enable installation without a nearby floor drain, this unit is equipped with a drain pump.
